New Job Opportunity - Software Developer:

New and exciting job opportunity out of Manassas, VA. Looking to hire a Software Engineer with at least 1 years of prior related professional experience working with C++/Java/Python. Experience/proficiency in a Linux environment is required 
- An active secret security clearance is highly preferred
- Will consider candidates fresh out of college with a completed degree

Logistics of the Role:
  • Full Time - 6 Month Contract to Hire (Pay ranges from 45/hr-60/hr - Depending on Experience) 
  • On Site 
Day to Day Activities:
  • Software Development - Develop new applications, as well as provide enhancements and support for existing systems 
  • Analyze technology/capability gaps, research, develop, and deploy software solutions
  • Leverage knowledge of software design principles to maximize readability and maintainability.
  • Will be responsible for ensuring quality product/assurance  -  testing of the software and assuring its quality -Debugging and Troubleshooting 
  • Will be tasked with documentation - Effectively document systems, software and processes 
  • Support the integration of RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
  • Apply security updates to RHEL
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelors Degree in computer science, or related field
  • 0-3 years of experience in software development
  • Applied experience programming in a Linux environment - Experience with Red Hat Linux 
  • Applied experience with C++, and Java
  • Knowledge of Linux Systems 
  • An active security clearance is highly preferred
  • Must be organized and an excellent communicator
