This position requires US citizenship and is looking for people that have worked for government contracts before. This position is 100% remote and is looking for someone who has 5+ years of DevOps experience.

The Responsibilities

• Supporting control systems testing, equipment commissioning, field testing and system acceptance including operational readiness testing.
• Engage with projects encompassing the software lifecycle spectrum
• Participate as OTech representative for corporate IT and Software Center of Excellence DevOps initiatives
• Setting up industrial communication protocols and VFD configuration.
• Ability to design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
• Previous technical internship(s) or co-op, if applicable.
• Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
• Experience in optimization mathematics such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization.
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
• Adept at handling ambiguous or undefined problems as well as ability to think abstractly.

The Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of practical experience in DevOps
• Working knowledge of piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and motor control schematics.
• Demonstrated ability using Ethernet and control system communication protocols.
• Experience with Rockwell, Wonderware, and similar PLC/HMI software.
• A registered professional engineer is preferred.
