New Job Opportunity - Accounting Manager
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of West Middlesex, PA. Looking to hire an experienced accounting professional with a minimum of Six years of related work experience. We are trying to fill this role within the next 2 weeks.
Logistics of the Role:
- Full Time - Direct Hire
- Hybrid Remote: On site one day a week
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department (day-to-day management of Order Entry, Billing, Credit & Collections, Accounts Payable, and Tax)
- Partner with the the VP of finance on a variety of projects, and controller to support activities (Monthly closing, reporting, and account reconciliations)
- Manage credit and collection process
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
- Assists with Monthly Financial closing entries and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle tax planning and preparation
- Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Accounting Degree is Required
- Minimum of Six years of working accounting experience - Experience working in a software focused industry is highly preferred
- Full Cycle Accounting Experience
- Communications and Organizational Skills
- Management / Leadership Experience
- knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) + revenue accounting standards (ASC 606)
- Any Professional Audit experience is preferred
