Position Overview: As the Director of Toxicology, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our toxicology strategies. Your expertise will guide our efforts to assess and mitigate potential risks associated with our products and processes. You will lead a team of skilled toxicologists and collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement toxicology strategies to assess the safety and potential hazards of our products.
- Lead and manage a team of toxicology professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Oversee the design and execution of toxicological studies, interpreting results, and making recommendations based on scientific findings.
- Collaborate with R&D, regulatory affairs, and product development teams to integrate safety assessments into the product lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and advancements in toxicology and incorporate them into our strategies.
- Communicate complex scientific concepts and findings effectively to internal teams, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines and requirements in all toxicology-related activities.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- years of demonstrated experience in a leadership role within the field of toxicology.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful toxicological strategies.
