New Job Opportunity - Oracle Database Engineer:

New and exciting job opportunity out of Annapolis Junction, MD. Looking to hire an experienced Oracle DatabaseEngineer with at least 2 years of prior related professional experience with Oracle, SQL, Linux, and scripting. TS/SCI with full scope poly is required. 

Logistics of the Role:

  • Full Time - Direct Hire 
  • Hybrid 

Day to Day Activities:
 

  • Provide recommendations for system-level performance adjustments to the Oracle platform.

  • Conduct technical training sessions and seminars on writing efficient SQL and job streams, educating end users and developers on best practices for the Oracle platform.

  • Participate in a consulting role with design and architectural activities for new project initiatives, offering input, guidelines, and insight from a performance perspective. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, computer science, or related field
  • At least 2+ years of hands on professional experience with Oracle, SQL, or Linux 
  • Knowledge of Linux Systems and scripting experience
  • Oracle Data Guard, Jira, Confluence, PowerDesigner experience is highly preferred
  • Must be organized and an excellent communicator
