New Job Opportunity - Desktop Support Technician(Windows and Mac/Apple)
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Bethesda, MD. Looking to hire an experienced Desktop Support Technician with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience. (Desktop Support).
Technical certifications are highly desired as well as experience in both Windows and Mac/Apple support
Logistics of the Role:
- Full Time - 6 Month Contract to Hire
- Hybrid Remote: Fully on site for first two weeks of training, after that 2-3 days a week on site
- Provide day-to-day desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot, and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software
- Tier 1 and tier 2 Support - Answer tier 1 and tier 2 calls for computers during high call periods or when scheduling conflicts arise
- Deploys and troubleshoot issues with networking equipment (switches, routers, data drops, wireless access points and other hardware).
- Collaborates with vendors to resolve software and hardware issues.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of IT Technical Support; mix of Desktop and Help Desk Support preferred
- Highly detailed and process-oriented with advanced troubleshooting, incident resolution, and documentation skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field required
- CompTIA Certifications are highly desired
