This position will be a 6-month contract to hire and is looking for someone who is willing to work onsite. This position requires US citizenship and a candidate that is fully vaccinated.

Duties:

  • Responsible for observing all work performed by the supplier(s), as authorized by the client.
  • Coordinate resolution of all quality issues, including assurance of supplier adherence to requirements from military specifications and vendor drawings.
  • Provide work release authorization (WRA) for timely delivery of all critical components identified by the client.
  • Provide reports to client designated points of contact to discuss requirements, resolve problems and keep informed of changes to existing requirements and/or schedules
  • Work will be performed under general supervision while exercising considerable latitude for independent actions within the client policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Develop training and documentation materials for production to enable the seamless knowledge transfer of manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering) or related field.
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings, production documents and specifications.
  • Understanding of material specifications, manufacturing techniques, and inspections techniques, used for common manufacturing materials and components.
  • Broad technical knowledge with experience in an electronics assembly and ISO9001 or similar environment..
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to multiple client suppliers.
