As the Manager of Technical Operations, you will play a critical role in overseeing the technical aspects of our live events. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Event Production, Audio-Visual, Lighting, and IT, to ensure the successful planning, execution, and post-event evaluation of all technical aspects. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency while striving for innovation in event technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Oversee all technical aspects of live events, including sound, lighting, video, staging, and IT infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the Event Production team to understand event requirements and develop comprehensive technical plans to meet client expectations.
  • Conduct regular site visits and technical inspections to assess venue suitability and identify potential challenges and opportunities.
  • Manage equipment inventory, maintenance, and procurement to ensure that all technical assets are in top condition and up-to-date.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to secure additional technical resources and expertise as needed.
  • Provide on-site management during events, troubleshooting technical issues in real-time to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned in future events.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in event technology and recommend innovative solutions to enhance event experiences.
