Our client is looking for someone who has at least one year of administrative experience and is a US citizen. This position requires someone to go onsite one day a week.

Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Human Resources Assistant, we'll count on you to:

  • Provide assistance with and facilitate the Human Resources process at all business locations
  • Provide administrative support to Human Resources as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry
  • Perform Human Resources administrative work and provide analysis of various Human Resources programs and initiatives
  • Manage special projects
  • Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
  • Perform employee orientation and verify I-9 documentation as needed
  • Analyze various HR information and data
  • Assist with processing of terminations
  • Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR
  • Make photocopies, fax documents and perform other clerical functions
  • File papers and documents into appropriate employee files
  • Assist or prepare correspondence
  • Prepare new employee files
  • Process mail
  • Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of employees
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary to produce and deliver high-quality training programs
  • Knowledge of Windows, PowerPoint, Word and Excel or similar programs
  • Basic understanding of business, math and accounting activities
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
