Our client is looking for someone who has at least one year of administrative experience and is a US citizen. This position requires someone to go onsite one day a week.
Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Human Resources Assistant, we'll count on you to:
- Provide assistance with and facilitate the Human Resources process at all business locations
- Provide administrative support to Human Resources as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry
- Perform Human Resources administrative work and provide analysis of various Human Resources programs and initiatives
- Manage special projects
- Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
- Perform employee orientation and verify I-9 documentation as needed
- Analyze various HR information and data
- Assist with processing of terminations
- Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR
- Make photocopies, fax documents and perform other clerical functions
- File papers and documents into appropriate employee files
- Assist or prepare correspondence
- Prepare new employee files
- Process mail
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent
- Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of employees
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary to produce and deliver high-quality training programs
- Knowledge of Windows, PowerPoint, Word and Excel or similar programs
- Basic understanding of business, math and accounting activities
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
