Job description

• Responsible for leading a one-man survey crew in required project layout staking operations
• Accurately reads and interprets engineering plans
• Assist the Survey Chief in scheduling with Project Superintendents and Survey Coordinator
• Actively communicates with project supervision, Survey Manager or Coordinator daily or as needed
• Generates all project stakeout data information from survey software
• Operate survey instruments such as robotic total stations, data collectors, laser scanners, GPS, and other standard survey equipment to collect field data
• Interpret construction plans, perform necessary calculations in the field, and perform construction layout

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Annapolis, MD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Land surveying: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Surveyor License (Preferred)
