New Job Opportunity - Senior Network Security Engineer:

New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Washington, DC. Looking to hire an experienced Sr. Network Security Engineer with at least 8 years of prior related professional experience (High level Network Security Engineer / Cybersecurity support experience). We are trying to fill this role within the next 2 weeks. 

Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time - 6 Month Contract to Hire 
• On Site

Day to Day Activities:

• Configuration, troubleshoot, and manage Cisco Collaboration solutions.
• Researches, evaluates and recommends the selection of network-related tools and emerging technologies for clients.
• Interfacing with end-users for the purpose of designing and implementing network solutions and design recommendations.
• Manage & maintain the network security including firewalls for the organization
• Manage and maintain the incident response and risk assessment
• Work with the manager to play a critical role in all of the IT Security projects throughout the organization

Qualifications: 

• Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
• At least 8 years of experience working as a senior network engineer or related role (High level Cybersecurity, Network Engineer, and support roles). 
• IT Company Experience 
• Must have experience with Cisco, VMware, and IPS Products
• Network Troubleshooting Experience 
• Must have experience with managing VPN 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
