New Job Opportunity - Controller 

New job opportunity with a client based out of Philadelphia, PA. Looking to hire an Assistant Controller with at least 4+ years of related working experience (Financial Operations) and a strong accounting background (bank reqs, journal entries, etc). 
We are trying to fill this role within the next 2 weeks. 

Logistics of the Role:

  • Full Time - Direct Hire 
  • On Site - 5 Days a Week 

Day to Day Activities: 

  • Financial strategy, planning and oversight
  • Financial and managerial accounting and reporting - responsible for the accounting department (AR,AP, Payroll, bank reconciliations)
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, licenses, permits, insurance, including tax filings and financial audits specific to the construction industry.
  • Responsible for producing periodic financial reports
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making and business growth.
  • Oversee subcontractor / vendor payments

Qualifications: 

  • Must have a minimum of 4+ years work experience in a government contracting setting
  • CPA is highly preferred - or in the process of getting CPA
  • Must have experience working directly with stakeholders 
  • College Degree is required 
  • Paylocity Experience 
  • Bill-Me/Ramp Experience 
  • Prior experience managing staff 
  • Strong admin skills
