Network Engineer -(88)
Administers and oversees the company’s network design, operation, maintenance, implementation, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include: installing, upgrading, servicing, and maintaining system networks, servers, communications, and related hardware.
Principle duties and responsibilities
• Responsible for the configuration, operation and administration of network server hardware, operating systems and communications links, including the installation of new software applications and hardware on the network.
• Manages and maintains Active Directory, including adding and maintaining users on the network; assigns application access while ensuring system security.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on the company’s network hardware and software.
• Verifies the daily system back up occurs; restores documents, software, and data from the backup when necessary.
• Analyzes and evaluates new hardware, software and communications products for network compatibility and applicability to the business needs.
• Assures the integrity and confidentiality of company data and records.
• Coordinates with consultants or vendor representatives when necessary.
• Remains up-to-date with current technology and standards.
• Performs other tasks and duties as assigned or required.
Salary: 80/k-100/k
Main Things: Vmware and Active Directory Network Engineer must be onsite.
Requirements & Working Conditions
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
• 8+ years of experience with system networks.
• Strong background in Virtualization/Cloud based systems; VMWare and Azure preferred.
• Strong experience in Firewall, Routing and security across multiple environments/networks.
• Ability to design networks for future growth; ability to support future networks.
• Ability to apply the correct technology for business needs; ability to determine placement within the network to allow for maximum usage with business expansion.
• Strong business acumen.
Working conditions

• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Potential to be on-call as dictated by business needs.
• During peak business periods and/or extreme weather conditions, may be required to work an atypical schedule or work in other capacities within the organization
