The roles of Infrastructure/M365 Engineer include being responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining the IT infrastructure using the latest technology. An IT infrastructure engineer ensures all the IT systems that support businesses of any size function efficiently. Additionally, the infrastructure engineer may also support and develop specific platforms and will concentrate on unifying communications, messaging and identity toward a seamless user experience.

Job Duties
Perform installation and integration of network hardware, including routers, firewalls, switches, VPN solutions, servers and data storage systems.
Provide technical support for server hardware, operating systems, database, telephony systems, storage, and network devices.
Serve as a problem escalation point for the Technical Support team.
Participate in and provide technical guidance and support to project teams for business related projects.
Provide M365 administration for Azure, Team, Sharepoint, etc.
Support virtual environment include VMWare and Citrix devices and applications.
Perform routine maintenance and administrative tasks on infrastructure network and server devices.
Evaluate and recommend potential software packages, systems, and processes.
Proactively monitor system and network performance.
Support and maintain cloud storage and backup.
Maintains document library for technical and how-to documentation.
Provide detailed documentation of systems and environment.
Perform special projects, as assigned by IT management.
