Environmental Scientist (Partially Remote)
Annapolis, MD - Full Time
This position allows for 3 days/week remote or work from home.
Salary: $70,000 - 90,000/year

Duties:
- Collect and analyze environmental data using tools such as Python, GPS, and AutoCAD
- Conduct fieldwork to collect samples and monitor environmental conditions
- Use laboratory equipment to analyze samples and interpret results
- Write technical reports and present findings to clients or stakeholders
- Develop plans to manage environmental issues and mitigate risks
- Provide recommendations for improving environmental sustainability
- Maintain a garden or greenhouse to study plant growth and soil quality
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to maintain equipment and troubleshoot issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
- Experience with Python, GPS, AutoCAD, and laboratory equipment
- Strong technical writing skills for creating reports and presenting findings
- Ability to conduct fieldwork in various weather conditions and terrains
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies
- Experience with maintaining a garden or greenhouse is a plus
