Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop, test, and deploy programmable logic controller (PLC) programs, ensuring seamless automation and control of machinery and equipment across various industrial settings.
- Design intuitive human-machine interface (HMI) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, empowering operators to efficiently monitor and manage industrial processes.
- Contribute to the design and development of hardware components, including sensors, actuators, and control systems, adhering to global industry standards and ensuring reliability and performance.
- Conduct rigorous testing and meticulous debugging of PLC programs and hardware systems, swiftly identifying and resolving issues to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of PLC programs, hardware designs, and system configurations, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and streamlined project management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in the execution of automation and control projects, providing technical support during system installation, commissioning, and post-implementation phases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related, with minimum of 3.3 GPA, MS and PhD a plus
- United States Citizenship is required due to US Government ITAR program restrictions
- Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
- STEM related BS with 4 years of industrial controls experience
- STEM related MS with 2 years of industrial controls experience
- STEM related AS with 6 years of industrial controls experience
- Ex-Military with 8 years of industrial controls experience
- High School Diploma with 12 years of industrial controls experience
- STEM related BS with 1 year of industrial controls experience
- STEM related AS with 2 years of industrial controls experience
- High School Diploma with 4 years of industrial controls experience
- Military experience o High speed communications development
- TÜV functional safety certificate
- Familiarity with MODBUS and CANbus communications
- Strong theoretical and mathematical background; with ability to understand new concepts and ability to learn fast.
- Creative, passionate, team player
- Autonomous, curious with the ability to understand new concepts and to learn fast from experienced engineers, integrate into a team
Job Type: Full Time
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Work Environment: Client offers hybrid work schedule after first 6 months.
