As the Core Product Development R&D Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating our company's core product research and development efforts. You will be responsible for overseeing the creation of groundbreaking products that align with our strategic objectives, maintain our competitive edge, and drive significant value to our customers. Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of skilled researchers and engineers working on core product development. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and cross-functional cooperation.
Product Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team and product managers to define and execute the core product development strategy. Align R&D efforts with the company's long-term vision and market demands.
Research & Innovation: Drive the ideation, research, and prototyping of new product concepts. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to inform product development decisions.
Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from concept to commercialization. Ensure projects are executed within scope, budget, and schedule while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance, to integrate R&D efforts seamlessly and ensure successful product launches.
Risk Assessment: Proactively identify potential technical challenges, risks, and obstacles during the product development lifecycle. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to maintain project progress.
Resource Allocation: Optimize the allocation of resources, including budget, personnel, and equipment, to effectively support core product development initiatives.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all core product development projects adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
