Traveling AV Installer
Remote - Full Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated AV Traveling Installer to oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of audio-visual systems at various project sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio-visual technology, coupled with proven AV skills. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of AV systems, providing technical guidance, and managing the on-site team to deliver high-quality and seamless AV solutions. This position is 50-75% travel with all travel expenses paid for.
Main Points
- Need to be located in either Maryland, New Jersey or Mid-Atlantic region
- 50-75% national travel
- Just looking for a mid to senior AV install person
- Salary: 80k-85k
- CTS certification Preferred
- AV Install experience is a must
Essential Duties and Responsibilities, may include but are not limited to the following:
• Responsible for installing audio video products and components as specified by blueprints and to specifications.
• Pulling cable, installing connectors, projector mounting/hanging (ceiling mounts) and metal fabrication.
• Assist with mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring
• Loading and configuration of Crestron control systems.
• Assist with and perform installation tasks in a timely and quality conscious manner.
• Knowledge of loading and troubleshooting Crestron, Extron, AMX and Biamp control systems required (not programming).
• Knowledge installing and configuring Dolby audio systems highly desired not required.
• Experience with Cisco networking including routers, switches and configuring wireless networks ideal.
• Can read CAD generated prints and building blueprints and riser diagrams.
• Must have excellent communication skills and possess excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to do advanced troubleshooting on any device
Some out of town travel may be required
