Overhead Line Inspector
Los Angeles, CA - Full Time
This position is looking for someone with 1+ year of experience conducting inspections on power grids, telephone/transmission poles, etc. Need to come from the Utility sector. This position requires US citizenship and the ability to be able to travel throughout the LA area. This is a full-time direct hire position that is looking to pay between $70k-$83k/year. This position is looking to hire ASAP and has about 20 open positions.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of technical experience conducting certified inspections on distribution structures, transmission structures and their subcomponents
- Certification from a trade school in electrical distribution
- CA Class C License or equivalent
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct certified inspections of distribution structures, transmission structures and their subcomponents.
- Ensure all required reports are entered into the system prior to the end of shift.
- Conduct inspections, report priority issues, interact with customer regarding safety issues detected.
- Report any incident to the Operations Manager or their designee
- Know and adhere to GO 165, 95 or 128 and any other applicable directives.
