New Job Opportunity - Biotechnology Patent Agent:
New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Washington D.C. Candidates must have experience working on patent prosecution matters in the biological, biotechnology, chemical, and pharmaceutical fields
- Must be registered to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office
- Work independently through product development teams to devise a patenting strategy with the goal of building robust portfolios of intellectual property for cutting-edge biopharmaceutical products;
- Drafting and prosecuting patent applications to protect client products, product candidates and platform technologies on a global basis;
- Actively supporting various business development activities (e.g., research collaborations and acquisitions) by conducting IP due diligence on assets or technology of interest.
- Experience working on patent prosecution matters in the biological, biotechnology, chemical, and pharmaceutical fields
- Registered to practice before the USPTO
- Four (4) or more years of experience as a patent agent in a law firm or corporate setting, drafting and prosecuting biologic/vaccine patent applications.
- College Degree highly preferred
