Financial Analyst

New Job Opportunity - Financial Analyst 

New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of McLean,VA. Looking to hire an experienced Financial Analyst with a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in a government contracting setting- Deltek Experience highly preferred. We are trying to fill this role within the next 2 weeks. 

Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time - 3 Month Contract to Hire
• Hybrid Remote: 2-3 days a week on site 

• Perform quantitative analysis of operational and financial data
• Create financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision-making
• Utilize Vena forecast tool to set up projects
• Provide QA analysis 
• Provide Feedback to project managers 
• Evaluate monthly financial results and investigate variances to Plan / Prior Year / Prior Estimate
• Develop, compile and distribute dashboards and other financial reports to management
• Builds and manages financial databases by organizing and analyzing a wide range of data sources

Qualifications/Requirements: 

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Admin is Required 
• Minimum of four years of working Financial analysis experience - Experience working in a government contracting environment 
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint is required for this role 
• Communications and Organizational Skills 
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
