Duties:

• Outlines in detail all requested maintenance work performed within the facility and prepares detailed estimates including labor and material needed.
• Recommends equipment, facility improvement, and cost reductions in cooperation with his supervisor.
• Creates and documents maintenance and cleaning plans for machines and equipment in SAP using JIBs and TWI.
• Investigates work requests for feasibility, and schedules for efficient labor utilization.
• Establishes and maintains documented labor time standards in SAP.
• Coordinates work with originating departments, and/or other planners.
• Manages the spare parts inventory, and determines material and equipment levels needed, and insures their availability in the storeroom.
• Assesses urgency of work, and recommends priority based on safety and business needs.
• Prepares storeroom purchase requisitions and allocates material to work orders.
• Supports mechanical troubleshooting for systems, machines, and equipment malfunctions.
• Conducts root cause analysis and solves problems systematically.
• Maintains the SAP PM (EAM) system.
• Manage stocks of supplies and equipment.
• Coordinates the work of outside resources with maintenance and department schedules.
