Test Engineer (Remote)
Remote - Full Time
This position is looking for someone that is comfortable working fully remote and has experience with either white box or glass box testing experience. This is a full-time direct hire position that is looking to pay between $85k-$115k/yr depending on experience. This position requires someone who lives in the United States and you must be either a US citizen or green card holder.
Essential Functions
- Work with other Design Engineers to plan, design and implement systems in a heterogeneous, distributed computing environment
- Support continuous integration processes and system deployments
- Write test plans and test cases
- Troubleshoot critical defects in software coding
- Should possess the programing skills to drive test automation
- You have expertise in field of test automation and have driven efforts for implementing test frameworks on web, mobile platform or service-oriented architectures
- Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Provides leadership in enabling and enforcing security controls on VMs, servers, network, and cloud architectures
- Implement solutions for high‐availability for products to survive in mission‐critical environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent experience in a related field
- 5 years of DevOps experience preferred
- Well‐versed with Openstack cloud deployments
- Python and Node.js experience preferred
- Experience working in OpenStack
- Hands-on Java programming, Automation Scripting, testing experience in JAVA & TestNG.
- Experience with Selenium or similar software testing framework.
- Experience in building framework and executing automated and performance tests for REST based services.
- Linux OS experience
