Application Developer
DC, DC - Full Time
This is a junior level application developer position that is looking for a US citizen that work onsite out of Washington DC. This is a full-time direct hire position that is looking to pay between $50k-$60k/year. This position is looking for someone who has at least 2 years of application development experience along with strong HTML and JavaScript experience. Need AEM experience!
Key Responsibilities:
- The Application Developer shall be responsible for forms and workflow design, development and testing
- Provides/confirms detailed estimates for assigned work units and provide communications for deviations from estimates; proactively works with project managers to ensure appropriate time is allocated to assigned tasks
- Able to work well individually and/or part of a team
- Accurately documents design and code fixes for all created code to memorialize fixes and dependencies according to established standards
- Acts as a technical expert for lower band application developers
- Conducts timely structured code reviews to ensure standards and systems interoperability
- Begins to identify and escalate matters of business risk to resolve simple to intermediate defects and identifies support issues and initiate action to resolve the problem
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2 or more years of related experience
- Strong understanding of HTML; JavaScript; CSS
- Familiarity with C#; .NET; Microsoft SQL; Adobe Acrobat Pro
- US citizen
