IT Director

New Job Opportunity - IT Director

New job opportunity with a client based out of Hunt Valley, MD. Looking to hire an experienced IT Director with at least 5+ years in It Management - Someone who has started their own team and experienced working with an MSP.
Experience in the mortgage industry is highly preferred (Familiarity with mortgage technology applications)

Type/Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time -Direct Hire - Our client is looking in pay in the range of 155k-180k (Dependent on experience)
• Hunt Valley, MD - 1-2 days on site initially then could be remote. Candidates must be located in the DMV

Day to Day Activities: 

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of IT modernization business systems 

• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and effectiveness

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize IT operations, enhance system and operations performance, and mitigate risks to meet & exceed various SLAs

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business and system modernization requirements and align IT operations goals

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field experiences; Master’s degree preferred
• Familiarity with mortgage technology applications
• experience implementing IT Policies/procedures as well as IT budgeting and resource management 

• Strong leadership skills with experience leading and developing high performing teams

• Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases
