Business Analyst/Data Task Lead

New Job Opportunity - Business Analyst/Data Task Lead:

New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Andrews AFB (JBA). 
Looking to hire a Business Analyst/Data Task Lead with at least 4+ years of related professional experience with heavy data analytics
- Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Gap Analysis & business cause analysis
- Prior experience supporting the Air Force is highly desired
- Secret security Clearance is required 

Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time - Direct Hire - Our client is looking to pay within a range of 110k-125k
• Andrews AFB (Just outside of Washington D.C.)

Day to Day Activities:

• Gather intelligence from corporate executives and middle managers about needs and future growth
• Evaluate, test and recommend new opportunities for enhancing our software, hardware and IT processes
• Analyze data and system information across large IT portfolios to support gap analysis
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders, including manufacturing teams, to gather and document detailed requirements for system enhancements, process improvements, and new initiatives
• System Design: Develop detailed system design specifications and functional requirements that align with business needs and objectives, with a focus on manufacturing applications and technologies
•  Data Analysis: Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, performance issues, and opportunities for data-driven decision-making
•  Testing and Quality Assurance /QA Process: Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring that solutions meet the defined requirements and are free from defects
•  Change Management: Assist in planning and implementing change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes within the manufacturing domain

Qualifications: 

• Secret Security Clearance is required
• A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information systems, Business, or a related degree is preferred. 
• Familiarity with Qlik, PowerBI, and/or Tableau.
• Familiarity with gap analysis and business cause analysis
• Experience serving the Air Force/ served
• Strong work ethic, self-starter, and internally driven.
