Responsibilities:
Travel to client sites regionally, spending up to 75% of your time away (2-3 weeks at a time), to lead the installation and commissioning of automated machinery systems.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure proper planning and preparation for installations.
Supervise and actively participate in the assembly, alignment, and integration of mechanical, electrical, and control components.
Conduct thorough system testing to verify functionality and identify any potential issues or deviations.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems during the installation process.
Provide technical support and guidance to client personnel during the commissioning phase.
Ensure installations are completed within project timelines and meet or exceed quality standards.
Generate detailed installation reports, documenting activities, findings, and solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve installation procedures, standards, and efficiency.
