VoIP Engineer

As a Senior VoIP Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust VoIP infrastructure and solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and developers, to ensure the seamless integration and performance of VoIP systems. Your expertise in VoIP protocols, network architecture, and troubleshooting will be invaluable in delivering high-quality voice services to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and configure enterprise-grade VoIP systems and solutions.
• Develop and maintain VoIP infrastructure, including call managers, gateways, session border controllers (SBCs), and related components.
• Collaborate with network engineers and system administrators to ensure proper integration of VoIP systems into the overall network architecture.
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and capacity planning for VoIP infrastructure.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve VoIP-related issues, ensuring optimal voice quality and performance.
• Implement and maintain security measures for VoIP systems, including authentication, encryption, and access control.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in VoIP and unified communications.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to evaluate and implement new VoIP technologies and services.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing and reference.
