Accountant
We are looking for a self-motivated accountant to join our financial management department. In this role, you’ll play an important role in our company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting and compliance with the law.

Main Points

• Onsite: Henderson, Nevada
• Salary: 70k-80k
• QuickBooks experience required.
• 2+ years of experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations related to payroll
• Verify the accuracy of all payroll information and submit it promptly
• Verify and maintain the accuracy of daily transactions and keep records of proper supporting documentation
• Generate and validate the accuracy of sales reports and financial statements before distribution
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments or accounts
• Create, maintain and update accurate records of all inventory transactions
• Perform periodic physical inventories
• Assist outside accounting firm in preparation of audits, reviews, financial statements, and tax returns
• Keep current with business insurances, licenses, statements, renewals, and related documentation
• Prepare monthly financial reports for management
• Resolve correspondence with tax jurisdictions
• Assist in automating processes and procedures
• Manage corporate credit card programs
• Provide compliance and financial advice to management and support decision-making through financial insights
• Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
• Involved in benefit administration for the company, including health insurance, and 401k
• Perform other duties as assigned

 
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of proven accounting experience is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of proven payroll experience is preferred.
