Cad Technician

Details:
- Tampa, FL
- 6 month contract to hire
- $18 to 26/hr
Duties:
- Conduct daily estimations from existing architectural and technical drawings for quoting and fabrication
- Develop CAD drawings as well as technical drawings for client review and digital fabrication
- Use architectural and design knowledge to aid in project development
- Work with the sales team to offer technical knowledge regarding fabrication
- Utilize knowledge of spatial formatting and measuring to aid Project Managers and Sales Team during and after field visits/ site walk throughs
- Work along-side Fabrication team to properly guide projects through to completion
Qualifications:
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Experience reviewing architectural drawings a plus
- Surveying experience or experience on active construction sites
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- General computer experience (Excel, Microsoft Word, email correspondence, etc.)
- A certification or more in Architectural/Interior design or related degree a plus
- 3D CAD knowledge/experience a plus
