IT Operations Manager

New Job Opportunity - IT Operations Manager 

New job opportunity with a client based out of Frederick, MD. Looking to hire an experienced IT Operations Manager with at least 4+ years of prior related working experience in IT Management. 

Must have experience implementing IT Policies/procedures as well as IT budgeting and resource management 
 

Type/Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time -Direct Hire - Our client is looking in pay in the range of 100k-125k (Dependent on experience)
• - Frederick, MD - Hybrid (After initial training period) 

Day to Day Activities: 

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of IT modernization business systems 

• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and effectiveness

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize IT operations, enhance system and operations performance, and mitigate risks to meet & exceed various SLAs

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business and system modernization requirements and align IT operations goals

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field experiences; Master’s degree preferred
• experience implementing IT Policies/procedures as well as IT budgeting and resource management 

• Strong leadership skills with experience leading and developing high performing teams

• Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases
• Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred.
• Experience with any of the following technologies is highly preferred -Dell PowerEdge servers, Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platforms, Meraki network & security devices, Synology storage, Veeam, and DFS
