Hardware Engineer
Baltimore, MD - Full Time
This is a full-time direct hire position that is looking to pay between $90k-$100k/year. This position requires someone who is a US citizen, green card holder, or visa individual. This position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 0-5 years of experience. This is a fully onsite position out of Baltimore, MD and is looking to bring on a qualified candidate ASAP.
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead/participate in design reviews
- Component management and part sourcing
- Ensuring components and suppliers are in compliant
- Bringing electrical components and designs into IPC class 3 compliance
- Inspection and functional testing of hardware components
- Design/construction of test fixtures and equipment as well as maintaining manufacturing and testing equipment
- Perform V&V tests on hardware components
- Prepping test articles for external FCC compliance and V&V testing
- Document the engineering progress, testing design, and results for quality management
What You Need for this Position
- 0-4 years' experience as a Hardware or Electrical Engineer
- Must be proficient with PCB Layout and Design
- Experience in the Medical Device industry a plus but not required
- Must be proficient with Altium or equivalent ECAD software
- Familiarity with IPC compliance standards
- Validation Testing experience required
- Quality Management Systems and familiarity with FDA and ISO regulations highly desired
