Electrical CAD Designer

As an Electrical CAD Designer, you will play a key role in the design and development of electrical systems for a variety of projects. Your expertise in CAD software and electrical engineering will be essential in creating accurate and detailed electrical drawings and schematics. You will collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure designs meet project requirements, adhere to industry standards, and comply with relevant codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop electrical system designs based on project specifications and requirements.
• Ensure accurate representation of electrical components, equipment, and wiring in drawings.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering plans to identify electrical design requirements.
• Incorporate design changes and modifications into existing drawings as necessary.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of design deliverables.
• Perform quality checks on drawings to verify accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including drawing files and revision control.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in electrical design and CAD software.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates and material take-offs for electrical design projects.
• Collaborate with construction teams during project implementation to address design-related queries or issues.
