System Administrator

Main Point

We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks.

Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.

Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.  We are looking for candidates  that are strong with Microsoft and that have strong experience in IT Services and or a Services company.  Someone who has a strong knowledge of a Ticketing systems is ideal!

 

Duties: 

  • Use Ticketing System to work on and resolve Helpdesk Tickets & Service Requests
  • Managing and recording all work though our Ticketing System
  • Make sure that Client Documentation is well maintained
  • Split tickets that have several issues into their own individual ticket
  • Make sure that tickets aren’t “stale” throughout the process
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for daily / weekly recurring tasks
  • Follow all our Security Procedures and Keeping a Vigilant Eye for Security Issues

 

Qualifications

  • Experience using a Ticketing system / RMM Tool and PSA software
  • Experience providing support via remote tools
  • Experience handling Technical Service Tickets
  • Professional IT Certifications such as Microsoft MCP, etc.
