Job Title: Off Shift Supervisor

Job Summary: The off shift supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations during non-traditional working hours, such as evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays. This role involves ensuring efficient workflow, supervising staff, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The off shift supervisor serves as a key point of contact for employees and addresses any issues or concerns that may arise during their shift.

Main Points

• Hours 6pm-6am( hours vary, 8-10 hour shifts) 

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during non-traditional working hours.
2. Ensure smooth operations and maintain productivity during the off shift.
3. Assign tasks and responsibilities to employees and monitor their performance.
4. Provide training and guidance to new employees, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
5. Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
6. Address any employee concerns or conflicts and escalate issues to upper management, if necessary.
7. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
8. Collaborate with other supervisors or department managers to ensure seamless transition between shifts.
9. Maintain accurate records, such as attendance, incidents, and equipment maintenance.
10. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
11. Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and regulations.
12. Coordinate and participate in meetings or briefings to communicate important updates and information.
13. Handle emergency situations and take appropriate action to minimize disruptions to operations.
14. Collaborate with the HR department in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
15. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to the work area.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in a relevant field is a plus.
2. Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a similar industry or work environment.
3. Strong knowledge of operational procedures and processes.
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
6. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to handle and resolve conflicts or issues.
7. Ability to work independently and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.
8. Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to enforce them effectively.
9. Proficiency in computer applications and software relevant to the role.
10. Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
11. Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
12. Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
