Job Duties
Provides expertise to support the release and deployment of upgrades and migrations
Troubleshoot audio, visual, and control system issues.
Maintain and request AV vendor repairs for A/V equipment and provide troubleshooting support for A/V technologies.
Perform pre-conference tests and monitor audio and video quality during the meetings (adjust as needed)
Act as the primary contact for high-level meetings requiring VTC coordination, testing, and support.
Manage local A/V inventory, perform regular firmware upgrades and schedule periodic equipment maintenance, collaborating with vendors when necessary.
Generate regular weekly/monthly equipment and events report and status updates and suggested improvement analysis.
Develop and contribute to policy, procedure, and user documentation.
Create backup solutions and protocols for critical seminars and communication, ensuring seamless operations for camera feeds, audio/microphones, live-streaming, laptops, AV Control Room, and VTC.
Experience Requirements
4+ Years’ Experience in providing AV/VTC services and support
Experience providing AV/VTC services in a government environment
Experience with audio visual bridges, endpoints, and protocols
Multi-site environment experience with AMX, Extron, Cisco, Polycom, Avaya, and Crestron equipment
Experience integrating VTC device in a Microsoft 365 environment
Knowledge of network, voice, and video protocols (such as SIP and H.264)
Experience using VTC Codec's, Audio Mixers, Control Systems, Audio Visual automation, Wiring, Amplifiers, Microphones, Projection systems, Video Cameras, and other A/V peripheral equipment
Experience supporting conferencing control panel systems such as Crestron
Four years of relevant A/V experience, encompassing sound, camera operation, video switching, performance monitoring, and hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or similar A/V certification (optional)
