Survey Party Chief

As a Survey Party Chief at, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating surveying projects from the field. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a survey crew in conducting field surveys, including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction layout, and other related tasks.
• Manage and operate surveying instruments, such as total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and laser scanners, ensuring accurate data collection.
• Conduct detailed research and analysis to determine appropriate survey methods, equipment, and techniques for each project.
• Plan and organize surveying activities, including the establishment of survey control points and the layout of field work.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior surveying staff, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality work.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and objectives, ensuring surveys meet specifications and expectations.
• Perform data processing, analysis, and quality control to ensure accuracy and integrity of survey data.
• Prepare survey reports, drawings, and documentation, presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
