Certified Industrial Hygienist

Growing environmental engineering firm looking to bring a Certified Industrial Hygienist to their team.
This position will involve both on-site and remote work performing industrial hygiene activities. This will necessitate travel to the client site to conduct on-site assessments, while data entry and report writing tasks will be completed from a home-based work environment.

Required Qualifications:
- Possess a B.S. or M.S. degree in Industrial Hygiene, safety, or related discipline.
- Hold an active Certified Industrial Hygienist Certificate.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and acquire a federal identification.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Occasional travel within the U.S. may be required.
- Minimum of five or more years of relevant technical industrial hygiene experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in the Federal government is preferred.
- Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities based on workload demands.
- Demonstrated capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficient computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments in the areas of industrial hygiene, safety, and environmental practices.
- Deliver training sessions and provide guidance to junior and mid-level industrial hygienists, serving as a mentor.
- Conduct assessments related to Indoor Air Quality, Water Quality, and Noise and Chemical exposure.
- Develop protocols, cost projections, and tentative schedules for surveying sites.
- Carry out quality assurance tasks pertaining to environmental health and industrial hygiene investigations, studies and evaluations.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by the company.
