Collections Specialist

This is a full-time direct hire position that is looking to pay between $40k-$50k/year. This position is fully onsite out of Cockeysville, MD. This position requires previous collections and customer service experience and is looking to hire 1-2 people asap.

Responsibilities

• Collections of all customer accounts.
• Set up and establish new customer accounts and terms.
• Research and resolution of delinquent customer accounts.
• Recommend write-offs or turnover to a collection agency for delinquent customers.
• Prepare and mail delinquent invoices to customers monthly, as needed and updates customer master.
• Monitor and manage sales order credit, fraud and risk holds.
• Responsible for non-inventory accounts payable portfolio, coding, inquiry, and payment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of billing, collections and AR procedures.
• 2 years of commercial collections experience.
• Strong computer skills including all applications in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
