New Job Opportunity - CAD Drafter (Architectural)
New job opportunity with a client based out of Tampa, FL Looking to hire an entry level CAD drafter with at least 1+ year of professional experience.
Logistics of the Role:
- 6 Month Contract to Hire
- On Site
Day to Day Activities:
- Create detailed 3D CAD drawings and models
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements and specifications
- Review and analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Make necessary revisions to CAD drawings based on feedback and design changes
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to project standards and guidelines
- Generate bills of materials and assist with material procurement
Qualifications:
- Minimum education: High School
- Reliable Transportation
- Interest in Architectural design
- Familiarity with Florida building code
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- A background in engineering is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
