OpenShift Engineer

New Job Opportunity - OpenShift Engineer:

New and exciting job opportunity that is fully remote. Looking to hire an experienced OpenShift Engineer with at least 4 years of prior related professional experience building and maintaining Red Hat Open Shift Clusters. Experience with Kubernetes and working under a GCP cloud environment is highly preferred. 

Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time - Direct Hire 
• Remote

Day to Day Activities:

• Design, deploy, manage, and maintain containerized applications on Openshift and Kubernetes platforms.
• Participates in the analysis, design and development of technical specifications, programming, and testing of DevOps components.
• Participates in design and scripting reviews to ensure that design and enterprise programming standards and guidelines are followed. Assist with creating or updating the enterprise standards when gaps are identified.
• Assists team members in issue resolution, scalability metrics, integration issues, and critical production issues as required.

Qualifications: 

• 1+ years of experience with Linux operating systems
• Kubernetes Experience as well as maintaining Red Hat Open Shift Clusters
• Bachelors Degree in Science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
• Experience working with hosted applications or large-scale application deployments
• Experience with Docker, GCP cloud, Open vSwitch, Red Hat Middleware, Apache Tomcat, Node.js, Ruby (web frameworks), Python (web frameworks), Microsoft Azure, and .NET
