Oracle Database Engineer (Must Have TS/SCI with Poly)

New Job Opportunity - Oracle Database Engineer:
New and exciting job opportunity out of Annapolis Junction, MD. Looking to hire an experienced Oracle DatabaseEngineer with at least 2 years of prior related professional experience with Oracle, SQL, Linux, and scripting. TS/SCI with full scope poly is required.
Logistics of the Role:
- Full Time - Direct Hire
- Hybrid
Day to Day Activities:
Provide recommendations for system-level performance adjustments to the Oracle platform.
Conduct technical training sessions and seminars on writing efficient SQL and job streams, educating end users and developers on best practices for the Oracle platform.
Participate in a consulting role with design and architectural activities for new project initiatives, offering input, guidelines, and insight from a performance perspective.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, computer science, or related field
- At least 2+ years of hands on professional experience with Oracle, SQL, or Linux
- Knowledge of Linux Systems and scripting experience
- Oracle Data Guard, Jira, Confluence, PowerDesigner experience is highly preferred
- Must be organized and an excellent communicator
