Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•    The Enterprise Data Center Architect (DCA) is, in conjunction with the Hill CEDC Chief Technical Officer (CTO), is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of highly efficient and reliable data center infrastructures possessing a deep understanding of modern, and emerging, technologies with DoD and industry best practices.  
•    The DCA shall have and maintain certifications for: Certified Solutions Architect, VMWare Cloud, and Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP). 
•    The Enterprise Data Center Architect shall optimize the Hill CEDC data center layouts, cooling systems, power distribution, and networking components to ensure seamless operations and minimal downtime.   With emphasis on scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness they collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions that align with Hill CEDC and its customer program’s objectives.  
•    The Enterprise Data Center Architect is a key role in shaping the Hill CEDC’s IT infrastructure, evaluating emerging technologies, conducting risk assessments, and formulating disaster recovery strategies that empowering the Hill CEDC to adapt to ever-evolving demands of the digital landscape.
•    Additionally, the Enterprise Data Center Architect assists the Hill CEDC CTO with aligning the business strategy with its IT infrastructure and technology initiatives.  
•    The contactor shall evaluate the data centers current state and assist with defining its future goals and devising future roadmaps to bridge the gap between the two.  This position possesses a holistic understanding of various IT domains, such as application architecture, data architecture, security, cloud and multi-cloud computing, as necessary to design integrated efficient systems that foster collaboration and innovation across the Hill CEDC.  
•    The contractor shall facilitate seamless communication between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that all technology decisions support the Hill CEDC and its customer program’s long-term objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and maximize return on IT investments.
