Project Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze project budgets, expenses, and financial performance to ensure compliance with established guidelines and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare accurate and timely project financial reports, including cost estimates, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop and maintain project budgets, tracking expenditures and providing recommendations for cost control.
• Review and process project-related invoices, purchase orders, and contracts, ensuring proper coding and adherence to budget allocations.
• Conduct regular financial audits and reconcile project-related accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and financial feasibility studies, providing insights and analysis on financial aspects.
• Support project teams in managing financial risks and opportunities, identifying potential issues and recommending solutions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the finance team in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
