Financial Analyst

New Job Opportunity - Financial Analyst 

New and exciting job opportunity that is fully remote (But must be local to Stafford, VA area for the initial onboarding training period on site, then fully remote after training). 

Looking to hire an experienced Financial Analyst with 4+ years of financial professional experience and 1-2+ years with DoD/Federal Government experience. Candidates should have experience with planning, programming, budgeting, execution system (PPBE) 

Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time - direct Hire 
• Fully Remote -after the initial onboarding training period (Stafford, VA).  

• Perform quantitative analysis of operational and financial data
• Create financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision-making
• Provide QA analysis 
• Provide Feedback to project managers 
• Evaluate monthly financial results and investigate variances to Plan / Prior Year / Prior Estimate
• Develop, compile and distribute dashboards and other financial reports to management
• Builds and manages financial databases by organizing and analyzing a wide range of data sources

Qualifications/Requirements: 

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Admin is Required 
• Minimum of 4+years of working Financial analysis/management experience 
• Experience working in a government contracting environment - supporting automated information systems (AIS), especially Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI).  
• Experience with funding and documentation of military programs 
• Knowledge and experience with PPBE (Planning, programming, budgeting, execution system). 
• Communications and Organizational Skills 
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
