This position allows for 2 days per week remote / work from home.
Salary: $50,000 - 60,000/year
Responsibilities:
Oversees projects from beginning to end providing all milestones to complete a project including, concept creation, research, script writing, location scouting, talent selection, crew selection, securing all permits and licenses, equipment requirements, filming, set safety and postproduction.
Works with clients to understand their needs and vision, guides them in the best product for their needs.
Apply story development, directing, cinematography, and editing to create compelling edit content that shows the intended story and message per the script and direction from producers/directors.
Study scripts to become familiar with production concepts and requirements while working with subject matter experts and reading white papers on the subject.
Develop or assists in development of scripts and storyboards for public and agency videos, as required.
Create production schedule, crew assignments and roles,
Lead casting calls, conduct location scouting,
Work with or act as the director of photography to achieve cinematic, modern visuals.
Direct actors on set and provide continuity with script supervision.
Follow all production safety standards and OSHA requirements to ensure crew and talent safety.
Directs all crew on set.
Oversee editing, sound design, motion graphics and visual effects creation.
Maintain a professional approach and demeanor at all times, including interaction with crew, talent, and client executives, and other guests.
Ensure all broadcast standards are met.
Skills & Abilities:
Experience as a producer is a must
Organized, Flexible, open for change, can work under pressure, and good communications skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to make quick decisions under pressure
Ability to write narrative, long/short format scripts
Basic knowledge in studio and location production techniques
Basic knowledge in video editing techniques and conversions
Knowledge of current and emerging software, motion graphics and design techniques, and technologies, production and post-production techniques to be able to guide both client and crew, and oversee all aspects of the project to ensure timely delivery.
On-set safety and communication protocols
Other studio knowledge such as teleprompter operator, camera operator, light etc. is a plus.
