Sr. Project Manager (MD PE License Required)

Summary:

Our client is looking for a Senior Professional Civil Engineer to join their Maryland team to provide professional project management to ensure client satisfaction of civil engineering projects including: roadways, sanitary sewer lines, storm drains, storm water management facilities, waterlines, utility design grading and drainage design

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental or related and/or equivalent work experience
• 15+ years of experience in civil engineering or a related technical profession
• 4+ years of project management experience
• Proficient knowledge of Civil 3D and other designed related software
• Maryland PE license (required)
• Experience with municipal and site development projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented team player
• Valid driver's license and able to operate a motor vehicle

• Develop conceptual analyses.  Generate alternative design approaches
• Organize, facilitate and prepare compete engineering plans and documents for roadways, sanitary sewer lines, storm drains, storm water management facilities, waterlines, utility design grading and drainage design
• Provide development of specifications and permit applications
• Utilize Civil 3D and other design related software as needed to perform design work
• Required to set up the project and completing the preliminary design or CAD work
• Supervise and lead junior design staff
• Prepare and present proposals and invoicing, monitor project scope and budgets, and prepare change order requests
• Testify at various hearings and meetings in support of projects

• Travel to local job sites
