Technical Services Consultant / IT Consultant

New Job Opportunity - Technical Services Consultant: New and exciting job opportunity out of the DMV area (D.C. Maryland Virginia). Looking to hire an IT Consultant who has MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience.
Candidates must also be experienced with Windows Server, VMware, O365, Networks, and/ or Active Directory

Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time - Direct Hire 
• Hybrid remote - Will have to go out to client sites 2-3 days a week
• Compensation is dependent on experience (Ranging from 75-95k). 

Day to Day Activities:

• Installs, deploys, and configures computers for customers.
• Resolves and diagnoses client-side IT issues such as network connection, operating system, and software issues (email clients and MS Office).
• Network administration – router, switches, firewalls.
• Inputs trouble tickets into ticketing system and provide escalation to Corporate IT teams when necessary/required.
• Works with other IT teams to resolve network and server issues, install and configure new server hardware, and participate in meetings to stay current with corporate wide IT projects.
• On-site visits that require hands-on work with customer equipment.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, computer science, or related field
• Minimum 4+ years of solid experience in an IT Support role, Required with a Managed Service Provider.
• Knowledgeable and proficient with Office 365 applications.
• 3 years of experience configuring, troubleshooting, and managing desktops running Windows Operating System.
• Windows Server, VMware, O365, Networks, and/ or Active Directory experience
