Lab Technician Temporary Position

Overview

The Laboratory Technician performs a series of general duties which span across a multiple-step process, beginning with the collection of samples, sample log-in, and concluding with the entry and approval of the results of a series of routine chemical, physical, and microbiological analyses in the appropriate database.

 

Duties:

  • Establishes daily routine necessary to meet work deadlines
  • Assists with biospecimen processing and storage, including labeling
  • Supports specimen inventory management through a laboratory inventory management system
  • Assist with processing

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, Molecular Biology or related field
  • Min 2 years experience
  • · General knowledge of the safe and proper handling of clinical specimens and materials
