Treasury Analyst (must have ALM experience)

BACKGROUND & COMPETENCIES:

 Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field

 3+ years’ experience in a Treasury role

 Experience in Treasury Operations

 Understanding of banking, financial theory and analysis. Experience with ALM modeling

systems required (ZM, BancWare, Fiserv, Profitstar, THC, Empyrean, QRM, etc.).

 Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and advanced spreadsheet functions.

 Highly detail oriented and organized.

 Ability to meet assigned deadlines.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to act and operate independently to achieve objectives.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Assist with updating various Treasury reports for various meetings including the Board of

Directors, ALCO, regulatory authorities, and various members of management.

 Act as backup for others in the Treasury and Accounting groups.

 Work on various Treasury initiatives to improve efficiencies.

 Provide data for monthly update of asset/liability model.

 Learn Business Analytics and work with monthly loan files for use in various applications

including stress testing, ALM, CECL, and budgeting.

 Assist in the due diligence documentation and administration of the bank’s corporate investment

portfolio, daily cash position, and funding management working with other business units,

correspondent banks, brokers, CD listing service providers, Federal Home Loan Bank, and other

key relationships.

 Prepare various balance sheet and ad hoc reports to include loan trends, deposit

analysis, investment reports, liquidity reports, and cash management reports.

 Assist in updating model assumptions and conduct sensitivity analysis on key assumptions.

 Maintain documentation of the modeling results, model assumptions, and other supporting

documents and compliance materials.

 Assist with purchase and monitoring of investments.

 Assist in the annual business planning process.

 Assist in new projects.

 Other duties as assigned.
